Ergonomic preparation robot for the feeding of the machine with recess cores:

The feeding robot exists of a rim bearing mounted to a truck. This truck is driving just in front of the machine where the mounting robot turns according to the foreseen position of the re-cess core so that the operator can deposit the built-up recess cores on the mouting robot in the upright position. At the beginning of the working cycle the mounting robot is driving auto-matically into the machine and puts the recess cores onto the mould core so that the automatic working cycle never stops.

Ergonomic worked out mounting place

The stored parts can be taken easily out of the shelf system arranged around the operator's place. The operator fits all the single parts together which are shown on the set-up diagramm of the monitor. After all parts are sticked on each other they are screwed automatically by an electric screw driver. By means of an automatic folding device the prepared recess core is tilted into the mounting robot. The operator is working in an ergonomic working height and never has to lift the complete recess core but only the single parts when they are joint to-gether. Works in stooping postures and the lifting of heavy weights can therefore be avoided. The output of monolithic manhole bases is a great deal bigger when using the mounting robot as well as the mounting place, as with previous machines the labour efficiency has mainly been restrained because of the interruption of the working cycle. This is not any more the case. Furtheron an increase of output of 20 - 30 % can be realised. In addition the operator has an ergonomic working place, and only small weights have to be lifted and stooping postures can be avoided.

Two procedures united in only one machine

Tilting mould method and bottom-up method

A further new development of this unit is that two production methods have been united. The production can be executed in the tilting mould method as well as in the bottom-up method. With this method the products are cured in the bottom-up position. Both production methods have their own advantages depending on the product. They can be applied as per specific pro-duction as follows:

Monolithic manhole bases according to DIN 4034.1 are produced in the bottom-up method and deposited in the bottom-up position. With this method an exact spigot profile is obtained. Monolithic manhole bases according to DIN 4034.2 as well as house drainage and inspection units are produced in the bottom-up method. In this case the inverts can be casted in the drainage and inspection units.
